The strategy of the makers of 'Oosaravelli' to release the movie in too many theaters across the state seems to be misfired at the box office miserably. In every center of A.P., the movie occupied 60% to 70% theaters for screening. As a result, many theaters were noticed with no house full boards including benefit shows and morning shows. Only, because of the festival effect, from the matinee shows onwards, theaters started getting house full boards. It is suggested to the exhibitors to stop the screening of some of the side theaters so as to strengthen the flow of audience to the main theaters.

Gabbar Singh started!

Pawan Kalyan will be moving to his next film, Gabbar Singh , from October. From October 10th, he will join the shoot of the movie in Pollachi in Tamilnadu, which already has completed some portion of the shoot without the star. In non-stop schedule of 50 days, Pawan will be finishing off most part of his scenes for the movie. 

Remake of Hindi blockbuster Dabbangg , the movie is being directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Bandla Ganesh Babu and it has Sruthi Haasan as the heroine. Producer Ganesh is trying to rope in a Bollywood actress to play the popular item song. 

Devi Sri Prasad has already recorded two songs for the film.

oosaravelli audio released

Music of NTR's latest romantic action drama, Oosaravelli , was released to hysterical fanfare in Hyderabad on September 15th. Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao unveiled the audio albums. Tamannah and NTR also did a dance bit on the stage at Shilpa Kala Vedika for a song performed live by the music director Devi Sri Prasad as hundreds of fans and celebrities from film industry cheered them up.

Speaking at the occasion, NTR said it was his fortune to release the movie’s audio on the same day when Telugu Film Industry completed 80 years. He also thanked the fans, media and the technicians who have been supporting him in his journey. Regarding the movie, he said the film is sort of experiment in commercial entertainers.

'Gabbar Singh' shooting satrted

Regular shoot of Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh has begun. At a private location at Kokapet in Hyderabad, director Harsih Shankar is currently filming scenes involving the villain Abhimanyu Singh and actors Brahmanandam and Tanikella Bharani.

Pawan Kalyan will join the shoot from September end. In this remake of Bollywood super hit, Dabangg, Sruthi Haasan is playing the heroine role, while Devi Sri Prasad scores the music. 

The film is being produced by Ganesh Babu and it is expected to hit the screens in April 2012. 

On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan is currently filming for director Vishnu Vardhan's untitled movie which is in the last phase of shoot.

NTR's Oosaravelli leaked song

Oosaravelli audio on September 15

The audio of Oosaravelli will release not sooner than September 15.  The Devi Sri Prasad musical has fetched for the producers a whopping Rs. 45 lakhs as audio rights.  To be released by Aditya Music, the will however be released on October 6, the date that was formally announced some days back.

Meanwhile, the film's unit is returning to Hyderabad, having completed their France schedule in which a song was filmed on NTR and Tamanna.  (Earlier, another song was shot in Italy's exotic locations).

The Hyderabad schedule, in which some action sequences will be shot, will start from the 10th.  The makers aver that Devi Sri's tunes will be a raging hit and will instantly grow on the listeners.

Well, with DSP audio is sure to become a commercial hit.

Sunil's 'Poolarangadu' for Sankranthi release

Sunil is currently shooting for Poolarangadu being directed by Veerabhadram Chowdary and the producers are announced its release date - January 14, 2012. Producer Atchi Reddy feels this film will have great run if it releases on Sankranthi festival. The film will be finished off its shoot by January 1st as the movie is progressing at brisk pace. 

Isha Chawla is the heroine of the movie while Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ali, Pradeep Ravat, Raghu babu, Duvvasi Mohan and Pragathi play in other roles.

Ram and Gautham Menon film begins

Shooting of Gautham Vasudev Menon and Ram's new love story began on Monday morning in Chennai. Gautham Menon is producing the film on his own banner Photon Kathaas. He is simultaneously making Telugu and Tamil versions like he did for Ye Maaya Chesave. Ram and Samantha are the pair for the Telugu version and Jiva and Samantha are doing the Tamil version, which is titled Neethane En Ponvasantham.

A.R.Rehman scores the music for the movie.

Naga Chaitanya’s Dhada and Ram’s Kandireega are set to welcome more new releases in August. Both these films are competing at box-office on Independence Day weekend. While Naga Chaitanya’s Dhada is hitting the screens on August 11th, Ram and Hansika starrer Kandireega is releasing on August 12th.

Naga Chaitanya delivered two back to back hits with Ye Maaya Chesave and 100 % Love, so naturally Dhada is carrying good expectations. Yet, Dhada is very crucial film for Naga Chaitanya because he needs to deliver a hit with this movie to prove that audiences would also accept him in mass role.

DHADA AUDIO ON 24 JULY

Naga Chaitanya and Kajal Agarwal starrer, Dhada, is set to release its music on July 24th. “We are launching the music in big way at special ceremony to be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika on July 24th evening,” producer D Shiva Prasad Reddy said. He also added that the film will hit the screens on August 12th itself.

Dhada has Kajal Agarwal as heroine and has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is being directed by Ajay Bhuyan. It also has Sriram and Sameeksha in other key roles.
